KEYNOTE: Tasks Before Apps: Engaging Students with Authentic Audiences

Authentic audiences give students a purpose for learning that is connected to the real world.  There are fantastic tech tools that empower your students as content creators and demonstrate their understanding of core concepts.  Monica Burns will discuss how to design rigorous tasks, set student expectations, and support all learners in a differentiated, tech-friendly classroom.
